Become a member - keep the lights shining!
At the core of our mission is a commitment to excellence in stewardship of both the Presque Isle and Erie Land Lighthouses. Ensuring the meticulous preservation and continued care of each site, providing public access and promoting community engagement, and developing thoughtful, interactive and educational programming are the key areas of focus for the Light Station.
This work would not be possible without the generosity, dedication, and support of our members.

Meet Our Members
I live in Greenville, PA so the Lighthouses in Erie are a great road trip. Professionally I have worked in branch banking and as a real estate paralegal before retiring into being a parish secretary. It is important to me to support the community by volunteering and supporting organizations like Rotary, Boy Scouts and the Erie Lighthouses.
For me, lighthouses are so iconic while being a living history. If you become a member, you get unlimited visits to the lighthouses, priceless! The Erie community is blessed with 3 lighthouses, 2 of which still provide service. How is that for living history. You can always find a special gift in the gift shop too with a discount to make shopping easier!
