About Us
The Presque Isle Light Station is a registered 501(c)3 nonprofit corporation dedicated to preserving Erie's historic lighthouses, educating the community on their value, and interpreting them for future generations.
The mission of the Presque Isle Light Station is to establish and support efforts in the restoration and preservation of Erie's lighthouses to a period of significance; to acquire and maintain safe keeping of building/grounds, artifacts and historical records of Erie's lighthouses; and to create educational and recreational opportunities that accurately interpret the maritime history of Erie's lighthouses for all visitors and preserves it for future generations
Presque Isle Light Station is also known as Lake Erie Lights when referring to all three of Erie's historic light structures.
